Dr Greg McPhan is Principal Research Manager – Teacher Quality at the SiMERR National Research Centre at the university of New England. Greg has been involved in mathematics and science education, as a teacher, lecturer and researcher for over 26 years. During his years as a high school teacher/Deputy (Curriculum), Greg taught science and mathematics. Greg’s current project involvement encompasses the trialling of an algebra learning support program, the continued implementation of the National Professional Standards for Teachers (in collaboration with AITSL) at school and system levels nationally, a state-wide evaluation of selected reforms as part of the NSW Smarter Schools National Partnership (Teacher Quality), and the establishment of a Research Centre for Teacher Quality in the Philippines. Curriculum Vitae_McPhan
